Panhandlers are getting more aggressive

Maybe it’s just me but recently I’ve come across a lot of pretty aggressive panhandlers through downtown and on Buffalo speedway.

Yesterday this lady in downtown was going car to car and tapping on the windows and pulling the door handles. Today another lady was blocking 2 lanes and refused to move until someone gave her money. And that’s only the two most recent situations, I feel like it’s been ramping up for the past couple of months.

It scares the heck out of me, even though I always keep my doors locked and avoid eye contact unless I have some spare cash accessible to give them. But I’m paranoid that they’ll jump in front of my car or something.
