Bad takes on the radio

So this has been irksome for me for some time but most of the takes I hear on the radio I’m ambivalent about so I’ve tried to let it go. I’m listening to the buzz on 94.5 and every time they talk about AI they just passively tell you to let companies steal your data and the aspects of yourself like your biometrics with no concern for your privacy. Today they were just talking about CLEAR the data company used in airports and they were talking about how they are introducing facial ai biometric scanning to “speed up” the process. They literally used the “If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to fear” line. I don’t know if they are just embarrassingly unaware or actively dismissive with how much these companies just steal from you and sell to others. That data, especially in our current era, will most likely get sold to other companies like insurance companies to jack up rates, ads to specifically target you more, government agencies gaining access to data without need or consent beyond normal measures and so on. Maybe I’m alone here but every time I hear them talk about this it pisses me off. I love my rock and alt music in the morning but I’m tired of the s**t opinions
