Hotel recommendations for tourists

Hello!

I’m a woman in my twenties, and I’ll be traveling to Houston in two weeks with a female friend (also in her twenties). We’re not from the U.S. and will be staying for 3 nights. We’ll be renting a car, so the hotel doesn’t need to be super central.

Our budget is around $100/night and that would need to include parking and Wi-Fi. Safety is our top priority, so we’re looking for recommendations for safe hotels or areas to stay in.

We don’t have a packed itinerary—mostly shopping, visiting parks, and checking out a few museums.
