ISO Housing for under $1500 in SB/NW HTX (NO apt)

Howdy everyone!

I’m new to Houston and I’m looking for some housing resources or suggestions. I’m currently renting an apartment and I’m looking to move into a rental home or any private property. I’m open to anything besides an apartment.

My ideal location is Spring Branch, and I’m looking for a place with no sidewalk parking. I’m also looking for a monthly cost of under $1,500.

I’m not interested in a shared room. Example backyard guesthouse is fine or a small home.

If you could direct me to either legitimate Facebook groups or where to look, that would be extremely helpful.
