737 Max has ‘long way to go’ to restore flyer confidence, analysts say

When the Boeing 737 Max is eventually allowed to fly again, airlines could encounter difficulty getting passengers back on the plane, according to an analyst report.

“Our most significant takeaway from the survey is that the 737 Max has a long way to go to regain consumer confidence,” said a BofA Global Research report that surveyed more than 2,000 people to gauge their thoughts on the jet.

Airlines are also conducting research to better understand how customers feel about the plane.
