70 pint of water every 15-24 hrs from dehumidifier

Is there an issue with my apartment or is this Houston humidity? I live in a 600 sq ft apartment and have my dehumidifier running nearly 24/7. I usually collect 70 pints of water every day which I find to be strange for an apartment of my size. Is this from Houston humidity? The amount of water my dehumidifier collects is insane.
