6th ward!! Need your help

My boyfriend and I are both from Houston and neither of us live there anymore. He grew up in 6th ward and I grew up in 3rd so I don’t know anything about it really. I’m making him a shirt that’s 6th ward themed and I need an idea of images or symbols that could be associated with the area. Are there any landmarks, plants, cars, buildings, etc that you associate with it? Thanks!
