$600 toll road bill from last year

Hoping someone can help.

My wife just got EIGHT toll road invoices with each totaling about $75 each. The thing is, these are tolls that are dating back to 3/16/21 to 5/26/22. And we haven’t haven’t her car since 5/28/22. None of these are delinquent, or saying he’s over. It’s literally every toll between those dates all being billed to her now.

Basically they’re invoices for the last year of tolls – despite having a toll tag in her car + our card attached to the toll tag that we’ve paying.

Has this happened to anybody? Is this legal? Why would they be billing us for a year of tolls (that should have been paid for) nearly 4 months months after selling her car.
