Happy Friday, Houston! Here’s a heads-up for this weekend: A total lunar eclipse — sometimes called a “blood moon” — will occur Sunday night. According to AccuWeather, the entire eclipse will span five hours, but totality will begin at 10:29 p.m. local time and end at 11:53 p.m. The best time to view it will be 11:11 p.m. local time. AccuWeather even listed the eclipse among the astronomy events to get excited for in 2022.
