5 a.m. flight at IAH, counter opens at 3:45

Need to check one bag. Has anyone done this recently? I know someone posted about doing this a few months ago and they said they made it but it was tight.

We do have pre-check, but I try to never “count on” that because I know they can close it anytime.

IAH is such a cluster, I always try to go super early but can’t in this case having such an early flight.
