3 days without electricity
| |
Today is going to be my third today without electricity because the apartments I live in are negligent. A wall collapsed and it brought down the meters and the outside boxes with the fuses. The apartments knew the wall was weak and falling down, and all they did was place a cone and some yellow tape, and on Sunday it finally came down. When it rained a few weeks ago, the parking lot flooded, and it has been flooding for ever because of clogged up drains they neglect, causing my car to be flooded and my insurance declared it totaled. I called the city and they said is private property and aren't able to do anything. And of course the typical stuff; neighbors with loud music, dogs left outside all night, car breaking ins, predatory towing, bait and switch apartments, etc. My lease doesn't end until August, but I had enough. I keep nagging at them, and I know they hate because they have call me asking about the reviews I been leaving them publicly. Do I have enough to break my lease without causing a hit on my renting history? How hard is it to fight it if I bit the bullet and break my lease? submitted by /u/BetoFromTX |
