26M – What are the best neighborhoods to live in! Montrose, Midtown, Hyde Park, River/Afton Oaks, Upper Kirby/Greenway?

Hi everyone!

Looking to move to houston – does anyone have any recs on where to live? 26M and don't know anyone so looking for somewhere fun but also very safe and near parks for my dog.

Preferably somewhere near good food, great gyms (lots of racks and benches), nice open parks. Will have a car so public transportation won't be needed!
