Where to Celebrate Houston’s 713 Day

Honor all things Space City with food and drink specials, pub crawls, concerts, and more
Home to the World Series-winning Astros, the NASA Space Center, slabs, screw music, and some of the largest and most diverse cultural communities in the country, Houston has a lot of hometown pride, and at least once a year, Space City goes all out in celebrating itself. Named after the city’s first area code, 713 Day is an annual, unofficial holiday held each year on July 13, a day during which the whole city enthralls itself in very Houston activities. Drinking and dining are, of course, high on the list of priorities, and this year is no different. Join in on the fun, and celebrate Houston using this guide to the 713 Day drinking and dining festivities.
Please note: With the recent aftermath of tropical storm Beryl, which hit Houston on Monday, July 8, events are subject to change.
