Whiskey River South, a Houston-based dance hall, will be coming soon to Webster in August, Todd De La Garza, a representative for the dance hall said in an email May 21.

The cost for the restrooms is slated for $156,406, however it was budgeted to be $300,000—saving the city half of the funds allotted for the project, Deputy City Administrator Nancy Mikeska said.

Montgomery City Council will meet a handful of times before approving its fiscal year 2025-26 budget and tax rate.
