Roll out your moldy red carpet for the First Annual Houston Slummys, where the worst slumlords get the “recognition” and “advertisement” they desperately need. It’s time to shine a light on Houston’s dirtiest, shadiest, and most unlivable housing.

Current Award Categories:

The Sky High Club: Awarded to the highest rent hike of the year

Scam Artist of the Year: For the slumlords who slap some lipstick on the place and honeypot your ass

Creature Feature: Best in-house wildlife issues (Hive of Africanized bees? Spider infestation?)

RICO Suave Award: What slumlord seems to be intent on ignoring reports of obvious drug dealing or trafficking?

Vanishing Act: For those slumlords who suddenly disappear when repairs are needed but still hold their hand out the 1st of every month

Worst Property Management Company: For your corporate slumlord

Evidence a plus! We want all the dirty details. Stories, photos, and official notices are all fair game.

Why nominate?

Because misery loves company, and it’s high time these slumlords got the exposure they need.
