I’m staying two days in the city next week for work and im planning on buying some devices online from Best Buy and Apple. I called the hotel an asked if they could hold them for a couple days and they said yes, but told me that Apple deliveries needed to be sign by the person that’s on the package.

I called the Apple Store and all they could tell me was that they use UPS or Fedex for deliveries.

The thing is that I will be working almost all day and won’t be able to stay at the hotel to received them. that’s why the online shopping, i was thinking on just buying and sending them, hoping they will be received at the desk.

Does somebody know how Apple deliveries work in the city? and if those services normally need to be sign by the person on delivery?

Anyone else experiencing internet outages, particularly in the 77080 area?

Just got 5G fiber service in a new home and internet was fantastic (almost 3GB upload and download), fastest I’ve ever seen. Worked for about a week until it suddenly went out on the 30th of January, has not been fixed since. No broadband connection for 4 weeks.

Have been calling AT&T constantly, only to get told basically that “it’s up to the engineering department now” and that no one has any way to get in contact with that department. Extremely frustrating.

Just wondering if I’m the only one experiencing this or if this is a widespread issue.
