Read MoreI’m gifting my older car to my brother, who lives in Tennessee. He’s flying down here this weekend and we’ll do the title transfer at our local tax assessor’s office on Tuesday, and then he’ll drive the car back to Tennessee.
I’ll be removing my license plates and registration sticker. My question is: When we do the title transfer, will the tax assessor’s office issue temporary/paper tags for the car? The idea of him driving the car back to TN without any license plates doesn’t seem right. Thanks in advance.
