I’m going to be staying in Houston for a few days next month, and was thinking about catching a movie or two during some of the nights there. Are there any theaters I should avoid altogether, due to bad reputation or being located in a bad part of town?

I’ve poked around the subreddit and keep seeing people recommend IPIC, but I’m not really looking to spend 20 bucks per ticket. I’m leaning towards the AMC Houston 8, but again, I want to make sure I’m not going to run into trouble just to see some friggin’ Dragon Ball.

My old lady friends and I are going to set up a booth at a local farmer’s market and give out free advice. It’s not meant to be serious, but fun and funny. We need a clever name and I know the good people of Houston can help me out with a clear, concise name for our group. We are all retirement age, sassy, fun, irreverant at times but we don’t want to cross the line or offend anyone, ever. Looking forward to hearing your suggestions!
