His name is Reese, I do not have a last name, she lost his number & she has passed away. She described him as Pakistani/Black, tall man. My mom and bio dad lived in what she only called 5th & 4th ward, when it was really, really bad. Apartments. This man was a leader of, y’all know what, I was never told which he was that leader of. His sister was also one of females. He made a promise to my mom when we left & I’ve been trying to find him for years. I know they aren’t the best people to be friends with, this guy actually fell in love with my mother, protected her as well, she wouldn’t go off with him because the kind of stuff he ran was pretty brutal. Actually extremely brutal.

I don’t know if he’s in prison, dead or what. I do not know what his people and him called themselves, or I’d probably have this figured out by now..

I love to hike and explore the outdoors, and I just moved to Houston. I’m scared of running into snakes though. Is it actually safe to hike in Houston and not get bit? What are some good ways to prep for trails? I also have a dog, so if there’s anything I need to consider before going hiking with my bud, please let me know! TIA~

Was getting food at a food truck in a gas station and a guy comes up to me and says he out of gas and is trying to sell his portable phone charger for money. He tells me he paid $50 for it and I immediately and firmly say no. He continues for a second and I say no again.

Then he goes to the person working the food truck and says the exact same thing, verbatim, except this time he paid $75 for it. They talk for a minute while I wait and he’s trying to convince the guy it’s fully charged and to plug his phone in.

I finally get my order and he’s about to plug his phone into this guy’s thing. All the while the guy is trying to sell it for like $50 when it’s probably a 10 dollar charger.

Does he want people to plug their phone in and not buy? What’s he doing? Seemed really sketchy.
