Looking for Solar Sellback plan with no cap

My current contract is about to end (June 12th). I’m having trouble finding a similar new plan in zipcode 77063.

Old plan: Reliant Simple Solar Sell Back 12 Plan, no sell back credit cap, credit applies to entire bill, and excess credit rolls over. They are auto switching me to a regular Reliant Flex plan even though they know I have a PV system.

I checked powertochoose(dot)org and it seems our options have gone from last year’s five providers down to three.

Reliant: sell/buy back same rate; credits CAPPED at monthly usage; EXCLUDES base charge, taxes and fee, or other charges.

Green Moutain Energy: sell/buy back same rate; credits CAPPED at monthly usage; EXCLUDES service charge, tdsp surcharge, taxes and fees, and other charges.

TXU Energy: buy back LESS than sell rate; credits CAPPED AT YEARLY usage; EXCLUDES taxes, sales tax, and miscellaneous; annual review of your account if you produce more than you use, TXU WILL NOT BUY BACK energy your PV system produces for the next 12 billing cycles.

I tried to understand and break down their plans. TXU is weird. I see they changed the plans due to greed. I guess the days of keeping it simple are gone. So I want to know did anyone go with one of these solar buy back plans or are there more available that didn’t show up on powertochoose?

It’s so wrong the REPs can legally steal any excess energy my PV system produces above my usage.

Father-in-Law forgot where he parked. How do I find his vehicle?

My father-in-law is from out of town. He parked near the George R Brown center today on a street (maybe 8 blocks away east) and paid on a meter with his credit card. When he tried to return to his vehicle hours later, he got lost for 2+ hours. Never found it.

A local man found him and tried to help him. He called my wife and the man gave us an address we could pick him up at. (Thank you kind sir).

We drove around for a few hours and couldn’t find it. He really couldn’t give us a good location to even look in. He parked on the street (not a lot) and used the meter/kiosk. We didn’t even see a meter where we were looking. We gave up and I drove him back to my house 35 min away.

We called his credit card company and they said there was a charge from “On Street” parking of Houston and gave us the number of 832-393-8690. No answer since it was after work hours on Friday night. It just rings and rings. I sent them an email with as much info as I knew. Plate, time, charge, last 4 of card, name.

I’ve also looked at the towing website. His car isn’t on their… Yet.

He has to drive back to San Antonio on Sunday. What else can I do?
