Hi everyone, I’m relocating to Houston due to work. I’m planning on driving my SUV, possibly with a trailer if i cant fit everything in the car, from Los Angeles. I was just wondering if anyone had advice on where i should stop, possible places to avoid, etc. I’ve never driven for more than 4 hours so I’m excited but nervous at the same time. My coworker said two days should suffice but I want to plan on 3 days so I can drive in a relaxed manner since i can get tired a little easily when driving for a long period of time. I’m also worried about possible breakins since my car will be full of the stuff I’ll be moving with. Do you guys have any advice?

I have an entry level job interview next week with the Houston Health Department. The position title is public health educator. I didn’t get any details about who I’d be interviewing with – was asked to pick a time that works best and told where the interview would be held, with the email signed off by an individual from HR.

Has anyone been through this process with the city and know what it’s like? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
