Read MoreHello, all. So I got a job in Houston and my gf and I (both 23 years old) will be moving there very soon. I have a couple questions I’m hoping to get some insight on. So my office will be essentially at the intersection of I10 and Gessner, on the west side of the city. I have heard nightmare stories about the traffic and commutes in Houston. I am wondering if we were to find a place closer to downtown (galleria, montrose, midtown, etc) and essentially reverse commute away from downtown in the mornings, and back towards downtown in the evenings… will the commute be as bad as everybody says?
The office is in the area of Memorial City – is it realistic for me to expect to find a place in a fun, young area and still be within a 20-25 minute commute?
Any and all insight is much appreciated! Thanks everyone!
