Hello everyone,

I’m in need of a favor, and hoping someone in the vecinity of Richmond Ave. can help out a fellow musician.

My girlfriend’s father recently passed away, and his memorial is this weekend, at the auto parts store where he started as a delivery driver, and eventually worked his way up to V.P. of the Virginia group of the company. My girlfriend’s mother has asked me to perform an acoustic version of one of his favorite songs, and I certainly would like to give him a tribute by performing it. I intended to perform it on a baritone ukulele, but it can be performed on a guitar just the same

Sadly, he passed shortly after I moved my girlfriend halfway across the country to start our lives together (I was offered a great position with my company,) so between moving costs, and her looking for work, money is tight. I was told that I can’t slide my uke under my seat, because the overall length would place it in the aisle, and after spending a grand on tickets, the wallet is even emptier.

What I’m hoping for is that there is a kind-hearted, fellow musician who would let me (with your supervision) use a baritone ukulele, or acoustic guitar for a 5 minute or so performance, which would help to lift a little weight off of the memorial.
