I’m curious how much, someone would have to earn in Houston to have his wife stay at home and look after two kids? Middle to Upper Middle class life, 300-500k home- relatively new, and 2 or 3 cars, and 2 vacations a year, one domestic and one international. Curious to hear what your thoughts are, preferably in after tax dollars monthly. Thanks!

I am staying near the airport in humble for a wedding all weekend. I will have most of the day Saturday to do something. Won’t have a car though. Friday night I’ll be checking out ingenious brewing as its close to the hotel and I’m not going far. Is there cool things to do around there or public transportation downtown or anything cool I can get to? Good food and beer spots? Monday after the wedding I will be staying near minute maid park and going to a game. I’ll have a few days to explore that area. I have looked up a few places ( flying saucer, 8th wonder, true anamoly, truck yard). I like breweries and want some Houston food. Is there anything else near spindletap if I took public transportation or uber? Coming from New England. Anything that you would say is a must check out? Thanks
