Read MoreI got a cool leather cooler for the summer and I want to take it on a picnic in a park and have some beers. I’m from San Francisco, where it’s against the law to drink in the park but it’s never enforced so everyone does it. Is it the same situation in Houston? Would it be chill to have some beers in Memorial or Hermann Park or no?
Edit: Consensus in the comments is that you are allowed to at Hermann and Memorial park and pretty much everywhere besides downtown, midtown, and eado – just don’t be a nuisance and also no glass bottles. Thanks for the info everyone, and I’m amused to see how mad everyone got at each other over this simple question 😀
