Basically the title. I’m trying to sell my car, but need to transfer it from my parents names to my own. I’ve already filled out all the forms, but the tax collectors offices of Harris county require appointments for title transfers and every location is booked for at least 2 weeks. I don’t want to wait that long. Galveston county does not require appointments so I thought about going there to get it done. This is paperwork for the state technically, so it seems plausible that I could submit it anywhere in the state, but it’s also the government, and they love red tape, so wouldn’t be surprised if I have to do it in harris county. Does anyone know for sure? My research hasn’t turned up much
