Car registration expired for a while

Okay, so I got a new car back in 2018. At that time I was a really young, stupid college kid so my dad did everything for me, including install the plates. Unfortunately, he threw away the registration sticker on accident. Fast forward 3 years later, and we haven’t done anything about it bc life. The registration could be expired for anything from 1-2 years. Never got pulled over.

Now, as a responsible adult, im trying to fix it. Got the car inspected recently–it passed. I have valid insurance on it. Im scheduled Monday to go to the tax office to renew in person since online cannot be done in this situation.

My question is, can you be arrested for this? Or, will I have to pay back fees on the car? Has anyone else been in this situation and what happened when you went to renew your registration? I’m honestly scared shitless for my appointment on Monday, as these kinda things give me anxiety.

Any words on what to expect very welcome!

What i hope to see in 2021

what I hope to see from the Astros 2021

1-Winning baseball team(win the division if possible)

2-Finding a real closer that win those 2-1 games during the season and playoffs

3-Stay healthy (covid or not, injuries are huge)

4-Returning players and new players can gel well together

5-Bats don’t go cold during the playoffs

6-Management doesn’t over manage the players

7-Always trying out new prospects or looking for a good trade(don’t look up too much money in bad contracts)

8-Screw the Rangers, Yankees and Dodgers. Because Texas belongs to the Astros!!

(I want to get back into watching astros baseball and going back to minute maid park and watching games live again)
