Help needed to find someplace to rent but I’ve a messed up background

Hello!

I’ve been looking for a place to rent, no more than $600-700 a month, but due to Covid I’ve lost my job and currently looking for a new one, but I still need a place to live for both myself and my two younger brothers.

Unfortunately, I also have a violent criminal charge on my record (though it was in self-defense; it was either that or a complete beatdown), which prevents me from getting a place under normal circumstances.

I wanted to ask if anyone knows anyone who can help for my situation, any tips and information, or point me in the way to some resources that can help.
