Is Pima Medical Institute a good choice to become a Sonographer?

Hello, posting here because we are located in the Houston area.

My girlfriend is interested in becoming a sonographer. She currently holds her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and is a pharmacy technician, a job she can’t wait to get out of. She has applied and gotten accepted into Pima Medical Institute for their program in sonography.

I didn’t want to interfere in the beginning, but the more I google and search reddit about PMI, the less appealing it seems to be. She is very excited but I really don’t want her to waste her time and money if the school won’t help her achieve her goals. She’s very bright (very good GPA from University of Houston) and also wants to earn while she studies. She gravitated towards PMI because they claim she will be able to take classes without having to attend school from 8am-5pm, so that she may also work at the concurrently, as her superiors at work allow her schedule to be flexible.

Am I worried for no reason? Are there other programs someone here recommends?

Looking for my old hairdresser (from Birds on 20th in the Heights) — last visited Nov-ish of 2019

I just looked and it has changed from permanently closed to temporarily. But, I’m looking to see if anyone can direct me to Courtney (I believe that’s her name) who used to work there. She did a great job for me mid til the end of ’19, and I haven’t had a haircut since… and I seriously need one.

Anyway, I know this is a long shot, but if anyone knows her and can let her know, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Chinatown Noodles (help requested)

Last year right before covid hit I had the priveledge of eating biang biang noodles and beef noodle soup at Niu Yi Zui, and it was one of the best meals I had had in this city. Sadly the place closed, and I have an intense craving for something similar. I know next to nothing about this style of food (I believe this is Shaanxi cuisine but I could be completely wrong and most likely am) all I know is that the noodles were hand pulled and absolutely delicious.

Does anyone recommendations to fill the void that Niu Yi Zui left? And while we’re on the topic, if you have any restaurant recommendations that you’re currently digging at all in the area, they are more than welcome.
