Lately, I’ve been getting super into local history. Don’t feel like it’s talked about enough. Do you guys have any Houston stories that you guys find fascinating? Doesn’t matter if they are feel good, scary, criminal, paranormal, anything! What story do you resonate with – anything from Andrea Yates, to Hurricane Harvey.. I wanna know about it.

For me, it’s the weekly high stakes poker game in the ~40’s that would happen in room 8F of the Lamar hotel, each week the Houston elite, would quietly play and choose a Houston charity in need to donate all the winnings.
