I’m just starting out at HCC and my goal is to major in computer science but after hearing about the AI program HCC is providing I am debating whether or not to stick to transferring my credits to U of H to major in computer science or just to do that program instead. Would love to hear from anybody enrolled in the program!

I’ve lived in Houston my whole life and my parents are moving back. I haven’t had a lease in many, many years. My parents are having all sorts of trouble getting a response from property managers. They will talk once, get their application in (with a fee) and then get another call asking for extra paperwork. Then everything goes silent.

Is this something others experience? It seems with online applications and background checks and it being 2021, this should be a really fast process.

Looking for recommendations for a lawyer to help us go through a contractor dispute via RCLA, before small claims. RCLA is specifically designed to avoid lawyer representation against a company, so it would be consulting on how to best handle the negotiation process pre-RCLA, advice for an RCLA hearing, and possibly small claims court.

If you’ve ever personally been through a contractor dispute, I’d appreciate hearing your experience as well. We have a problem with an installation done by a contractor on our house.
