Has anyone else received a note from the Harris County Tax Office about their property taxes not being paid for your property tax bill on your mortgage?

I received a notification on Thursday about me being delinquent on my property taxes. I called my bank and got proof that the payment was sent over a few weeks ago. The person I spoke with are the bank said they have received a few calls from people in Harris county about this.

Anyone else have this issue and what’s going on?

Found a good place to get a free PCR COVID test for travel, thought I’d share

I have a flight booked which requires a PCR test within 72 hrs of flying. Thought that this was going to be problematic as it’s on a Sunday (today) and wasn’t sure if the labs would be open to be able to get a result turned around in time. That was indeed the case for Any Lab Test Now (which wanted $199 or $229, depending on the location).

I found out about Curative’s mobile van test site at Memorial Park, which was free and also got my results in on the weekend.

Memorial Park Running Trails Center, 7575 N. Picnic Lane

It does require an appt. If you do a ctrl + F on this page for ‘Curative’, it should direct you.

Hopefully this can help out someone in a similar situation save some stress and $.
