Read MoreI am currently out of town and my neighbor just informed us that our backyard fence fell down (shown in first pic). I am in the process of getting quotes but I don’t even know how to begin. What things should I be asking for?
He got a quote for $3000. Is this reasonable? I was thinking $34/ft is too much.
Info:
Not sure what the current fence material is, probably pine?
The entire length of the fence is about 90ft. Looking the at image (since I’m not at home) it looks like about 40ft of fencing fell.
It’s about 6-7ft tall
Questions:
Do I have to replace the entire fence? Would it be better/cheaper to replace the fallen sections?
What material should I look into? I want to be frugal but not cheap.
Is there anything else I should do to maintain the longevity of the fence?
