He’s been here before, and Will coming to the table with his injury history and PED suspension lowers his value quite a bit. I think that i could see Caserio making this contract happen. Maybe an incentive laden contract with potentail outs a few years down the road. But a nice frontloaded annual or hefty signing bonus to appease him now.
On the other hand, Will loves playing with D4, the organization showed how much they want him when they didnt budge on his trade value at the deadline. And D4 has come out multiple times to media for Will remaining a Texan and reportedly talked to him in the parking lot after our last game.
There’s enough on both sides to make this work. All that was missing before was a competent GM to carry it out. And now we have one.
