I’m a Civil engineer living on the East Coast interested in moving to the state of Texas. What is the market like for Civil/Water Resources engineering? One of the main reasons I’m interested in Houston is to work in water management. I’ve been working for 3 years mostly in roadway design/fieldwork but just passed my Professional Engineering licensure exam in Water.
I think I would get pretty acclimated to Houston fast. I’m originally from Tampa but live in Philadelphia now. I absolutely hate Philadelphia, it’s not for me. So I am looking to move to a lower COL city with a big airport nearby. Anyone have any insight or leads? Thanks!
