Would you please recommend us an (updated) food tour of Houston?

Since we can’t get on plane these holydays, we decided to stay in the city and try to travel around the world by eating all kinds of international food. We’ve been living here for 2 years now, and we wanted to do this since we moved, so this is the perfect time.

We’ll do our research of course, but please, feel free to recommend any spots that you feel are not that known (food trucks welcomed).

Our plan is to hit one or maybe two restaurants per day. Nothing indoors or too crowded, for safety.

We are a family of four, the 2 kids are coming with (meaning, alcohol isn’t a priority at all).

Thanks in advance.

$60 for a fucking lb. of beef fajitas? $40 for a half lb.?

Fajita Wednesday isn’t much better. $44.95 for a lb of chicken & beef?

Jesus. I use to work there around 2008 – 2012 and I remember fajitas being up to around the 44.xx range for a lb. Sucks ass, because they have my favorite fajitas in all of Houston. Pappas restaurants are great quality (except Pappas BBQ, which is mediocre at best), but seriously overpriced up the motherfuckin’ ass.
