A lot has happened over the weekend and Crennel came out with some good quotes, so I thought I would compile a thread rather than post three or four separate posts.

• Romeo Crennel on Will Fuller, Bradley Roby suspensions: ‘Anytime you have someone on your team make a misstep, it’s disappointing, especially when they’re contributors. Everybody will have to tighten their belt straps’

• What happens with Roby and Fuller now…?:it’s a big-picture decision as an organization on how they’ll proceed contractually with Will Fuller, a pending UFA, and Bradley Roby, who’s under contract for next two seasons. If he’s a part of the organization, he’ll express his opinion
• Have you spoken directly to Fuller or Roby?:: he hasn’t spoken directly to Will Fuller and Bradley Roby: ‘There’s no difficulty to the organization. The deed is done. What I can tell them is they’re responsible for themselves. The coaches aren’t responsible for what they do. The players are grown men’
• What about moving Lonnie back to corner?::’You don’t want to mess up two positions’

• Romeo Crennel on loss of Will Fuller: ‘Everybody has to step up. We’re going to look at all avenues, practice squad, wire, whatever’
• What about Watson without Fuller?:: ‘I think he’ll play well because he’s a great quarterback.’
• What about bringing back Kenny?:: ‘I think he left here on good terms. Both sides were agreeable and moved on. Whether he comes back or not, that’s something we’ll figure out. If he does, he does. If he doesn’t, he doesn’t. Haven’t spoken to him’

TL:DR : Sat on the fence for the majority of issues. Might dip into FA for another WR but again, ass must be sore for providing little to no insight on anything.

So first, before talking about the future, I’ve got to go back to last weekend. I did my normal smoking thread on Sunday because I wasn’t able to do one Thursday with Thanksgiving and all, and I did some smoked lamb leg that turned out fucking awesome, so I’m reposting the photo for those curious and weren’t on here on Sunday with no game going on.

Now, for this weekend, like a lot of grocery stores I’m sure ours did a “buy a ham, get a turkey free” deal, so my wife and I jumped on that. We cut the ham up into ham steaks and we used some of that to make kolaches (I can’t get them in the midwest so my wonderful wife learned how to make them herself). For the turkey, I’m gonna spatchcock the sucker and toss the whole thing on the smoker. Probably going to do my typical rub, a little heavier on the black pepper, and I’ll baste with some herb butter near the end of the smoke.

Also, I don’t care what the season looks like, always excited for the Colts game and beating those fuckers. Losing Fuller hurt, and I actually believe he was just led astray by a dipshit doc, but I still think the way Deshaun is playing right now we can get this win. Even if we can’t have nice things.
