Read MoreAs the title asks, me and my wife are getting an apartment downtown, we have 4 cats. 2 of them we are going to pay deposits for, but the other 2 we planned to get ESA notes. However, ESA’s only really work within the boundary of the HOA law/ordinance. In Houston they state:
“It is unlawful for any person to own, keep, possess or have control over four or more adult dogs, four or more adult cats, or any combination thereof exceeding three adult dogs and three adult cats on residential property within 100 feet of any other building used for human habitation.”
The wording has us extremely confused and worried because we cant tell if it means we cant have OVER 4 cats, or cant own 4 cats or more. What is the actual interpretation?
