Read MoreSo I’m throwing my boyfriend a birthday party (just the two of us because of COVID lol) and its going to be Halloween/Oktoberfest themed. I was hoping to get a bunch of different beers for him to try, preferably from Texas breweries, but I don’t want to get a whole 6-pack in case he doesn’t like them. I’ve had trouble finding places that have a good selection of beers for individual sale and am looking for recommendations on where I might be able to find some! So far I’ve tried Trader Joe’s (found a few there), Whole Foods, and Randall’s. I was planning on calling some Spec’s/Total Wine’s nearby since I know it can vary by location. If anyone has recommendations for inside the loop (specifically near West U, Bellaire, Rice Village area) I would greatly appreciate it!

Read MoreA beloved flair option hath been taken away at least a year ago or more from our cozy and amazing community here on Reddit. I am talking about one of the best flairs on all of Reddit, Hank Hill wearing a Texans hat.
I understand there probably has been many requests for new flair from the community but I personally feel the Hank Hill flair was one of the best. We have anime characters galore, Rick & Morty….hell, even Dickbutt has his own flair. But I beg you, in your kind and judicious mod hearts to please re-enable Mr. Hill!
I don’t know if I am in the minority here with this and folks could say, “you have so many options!” but to remove a flair with our beloved Texans who were featured on an nationally broadcasted TV show for years just means something a little more than the rest!
Thank you mods, for all that you do for us and for the quality of community that you upkeep here. All of your efforts are always ever appreciated, even if it is decided that Hank Hill wearing a Texans hat will never return!

Are there companies in Houston that hire or specifically need Bilingual Spanish transcribers or translators? I am not finding much luck on Indeed or LinkedIn but I am trying to help my dad with finding a job as a translator or transcriber, and even as a Spanish tutor for professional adults that may need to learn the language.
