Do we have a chance of making it to a SB this decade?

In this decade, we would have to play against Jackson and Mahomes with their stacked teams, the Bills and Chargers with their sick defenses and talented offense and maybe the Browns if they get their stuff sorted out. The 2010’s were a challenge with Brady, Manning, Big Ben and a healthy Andrew Luck, but now we’d have to face off against teams that have younger QB’s and a good nucleus around them that are much more talented than us. Obviously we don’t know what will happen in the next few years and how that will affect the next decade but still.

Pennyboarders of Houston

I’ve been learning how to penny board for about two days now and

  1. how the heck y’all skate over anything other than smooth pavement
  2. how long did it take y’all to comfortably skate on a penny board and comfortably skate around crowds
  3. pls give me tips and advice

I think the only trouble I’m having now is not pushing hard enough so when I turn, my turns are really slow and also having trouble with sharp turns

Are rideshare apps and private charter buses the only way to get to Galveston without a car?

Currently an out of state student college student in Houston looking to go to Galveston in the future with some friends. Neither of us have cars since we aren’t native Houstonians. It seems like there are charter buses that bring people from Houston’s airports to the port of Galveston for Carnival cruises and we could possibly get to our places from the port, but we might have to just default to rideshare as the quickest solution. We. are looking for ways to get the most distance out of free metro rides from university however. Guess we should just take metro to the closest area to Galveston it will take us and call Uber there?

Received a traffic violation.. Question about my court date?

Hi all,

Hoping to get some advice or information as my brain is mush from researching online. I received a traffic violation tonight for driving without lights at night. I recently bought a new car and didn’t realize I was driving without my lights on (I’m not used to the car yet) but received a citation from the cop anyway. 🙁 I have a court date at the end of November but I cannot make the date. I want to possibly take care of this earlier and wondered if my chances of getting the tickets dismissed are possible with my reasonings? I know I can take defensive driving school online which I may end up doing but my main question is if I have a chance to get this dismissed and if I can show up earlier than my court date? Also, is it possible to get it dismissed without going into court (maybe calling over the phone)? With covid, I have been trying to avoid going to crowded public places as much as possible as well. Thank you for any input/advice.

PS: I already know about hiring a lawyer but I rather not use that option.
