Like the title says my little sister turned 18 in May and her learners permit expired, we took her to renew the permit. They took her photo and payment, they said it would be about 2 weeks before the renewed permit arrived. Today she got what we thought was the renewed permit in the mail but instead it was a class c drivers license. I compared it to mine and sure enough it’s an actual Texas license, no marking or indication saying ‘learners’. My question is now, do we report this? She want’s to drive alone with it and thinks it’s fine but I’m not too sure, if she gets pulled over will it reflect in the system that she only has a learners permit? Is there any serious punishment for her driving alone with it?

One friend who lives in midtown renewed their lease last month and had their monthly rent drop by $200. Another who lives downtown was offered $500 off if he renewed but he ended up moving out of downtown. I got the early renewal offer for my apartment and my monthly is only dropping by $23.

Anyone else’s rent dropping and if so by how much?
