My first speeding ticket. Oops

I won’t go into deep detail, and I’m pretty sure I can’t avoid the ticket by trying to claim innocence.

How do I go about trying to at least get a lesser penalty by having any points removed from my record, and possibly a reduction in the cost? How should I speak, and ask? I’ve never been to court and I know you have to speak a certain way.

Was alleged 80 in a 50 zone, not much cars around, I believe others were going 60. I believe I was going 70 (still wrong I know) , the officer was on the other side of the road and I was on the far right lane behind some truck. Not sure how he got me. Any help is appreciated. Again not trying to plead innocent, just maybe a reduction in penalty if possible.

Or would I have to pay the ticket in full as long as the points do get removed? Would I still have to go to court with the officer that gave me the citation or just the judge?

Thanks.

How do you make a friend in texas?

Hey, I’ve lived here for five years now and still don’t have a single friend.

What are some things you all have done to make a friend?

I have a wife and child and she hasn’t made any friends either.

My son also seems to have trouble making and keeping friends but that’s probably because he’s four. He does get super excited sometimes and can get a little aggressive which is also probably the case.

Anyway just asking.

Do Texans only become friends with other Texans or something?

Knife throwing range

Hey y’all,

Does anyone know of a knife throwing range in Houston or somewhere I can practice?

Ive been looking for a knife throwing range in Houston but all I’ve found is a HAKS club in Pearland and an axe throwing range in Bellaire that currently does not offer knife throwing.

This is an old hobby I haven’t practiced in years and considering im living in an apartment, I can’t practice at home. Throwing knives tend to bounce even if they do stick and it’s likely to break something eventually.
