Mama cat and kitten(s) in my attic – PLEASE HELP
About 10 last night, my actual kitten was sitting on the dresser and was staring at the upper room corner. I turned off my sleep story and there is a kitten in my attic. Clearly a tiny one.
I went up and put in food and water. Refed and watered this morning before work.
I can see Mama – she’s feral, and terrified, and hissy, and maybe hurt – but I cannot see kitten.
I can’t get to them … I’m five-ten and 160, and Mama is in a bed of insulation and who knows where the kitten is.
Who do I call to help out? I cannot let these babies die. I’ve called SPCA and Harris County Animal Control, no dice. I called Vexcon in Shreveport to see if they have a humane referral here, and they do not. I’m on the phone with Texas Parks & Wildlife right now. I cannot let these babies die.
