I’ve recently been on lockdown because of my job.

I come from Alvin but if anyone outside of 100 miles ask where I’m from, what do I say? HOUSTON. its the city I claim when I’m that far away. But I digress.

I’ve been on lockdown here only recently because I’m in construction and thats how bad its gotta get for jobsites to shut down in construction. with that said, I’ve been able see other disc golf courses OUTSIDE of alvin, and well, here’s my two cents.

BOB BRISCOE PARK, has made an 18 hole golf disc course and thats where I first found out about disc golf. knowing my home town made it. I checked it out. I loved it. it was a hobby I didn’t know I needed in my life. but since then ive checked out other places. AND im not trying to toot my hometowns horn but…..

they did a great job. i understand places like TC jester and Moffit made a course after the park was made. But if you are an avid disc golfer. you HAVE to go to Bob Briscoe Park in alvin. they have amazing holes with the perfect obstacles. it’s been amazing.

Alvin usually gets on the news for some weird s**t. itd be nice to get on the map for something done very nicely.

We got a new bike rack for our car so we’re looking for fun trails and other places to ride. We already regularly use Buffalo Bayou and Hermann Park, and are already planning on Memorial Park and the Seawall. Where do you guys like to ride? Need kid-friendly ideas please.
