My realtor told me that if I buy a house, that has an appraised value of 130k, for 180k, that it will raise the appraised value to 180k. So, that means I will be paying taxes on the sell value(180k) of the home I bought. Is this true for Harris County?
I looked on HCAD and I really don’t understand what the guide to understanding property taxes is saying.

Read MoreHad this mead back in 2014 at the Renaissance Festival but I can’t figure out what company was making it or how to find a list of vendors from back then. I know that in this photo it was a sample they were giving out of peach flavored mead. The place they were serving it in had large, maybe cartoonish, honeybee on the outside of it. The guy who served it to me had a beard. That’s about as much as I can remember. I know it’s not much to go on but I appreciate any help.
