I’m in no way trying to support any police department, but I would like to point out the absence of Houston in this map by The Guardian summarizing attacks on the media.

Read MoreHOUSTON POLICE OFFICERS WILL NOT BE TRIED OVER INVASIVE BODY CAVITY SEARCH OF BLACK WOMAN
Have these officers still not been dismissed from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office? If not, can we please PLEASE try to ensure that these officers never work in law enforcement again?
How is any citizen in Houston safe with law enforcement officers that are willing and PERMITTED to violate and dehumanize a young woman in public? They stripped a college student naked and made her lay on the concrete so they could find marijuana, really?
This woman was failed by so many public servants on so many levels and she was awarded a measly $185k. Why did Kim Ogg neglect to fight for justice for this young woman’s autonomy over her own body? Even a panel on FOX news admitted that it is stunning how this case was handled and that these officers are STILL employed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4VQUl-lTbA
