Read MoreSo I’ve been living in Houston for over 7 years now. I grew up in South Carolina so I’m no stranger to humidity. But as I’ve gotten older and started working outside more (for a career almost), I sweat what feels like gallons in minutes. I’m drinking 4-6 liters of water a day and wearing moisture wicking clothing but it doesn’t seem to help that much. I end my busiest days feeling like I jumped into a pool. A really gross pool.
How do YOU beat this humidity? SC had some breaks in the humidity but Houston is a swamp with buildings built on it. What else is there to do to help here?

He made some pork adobo for dinner last night that was really good but I have been craving more! Lumpia, pancit, sisig, sinigang, karekare – all of it! And tbh I rather order take out or eat at a restaurant than have him make all these things for me. So what are some of your favorite places to chow down on some Filipino food? (Preferably looking to not include places like Jollibee, Flip ‘n Patties, etc.)
We live on the east side of town near I-10 and Federal and it’s been such a bummer not having a ton of options for Asian cuisine.
