Since February my fiance and I have been seeing the same stray dog not far from our apartment, almost always in the same field. We’ve called local animal control, the humane society, SPCA, and are always told they won’t come out unless it’s an emergency (dog visibly injured or threatening). We’ve seen this dog probably about 10 times in the last few months and have tried to get her ourselves, but she’s very skittish and we can rarely get within even 50 ft of her. We’ve even tried baiting her in with food.

Are there other organizations we can try to get this dog some help?
