Read More2nd time this month that I’ve been at a gas station and a guy wanders up to me asking to use my phone to “call a mechanic.”
The most recent guy was particularly irate when I told him to just go inside the gas station and use their phone.
I finally said “f**k it” and just left to use a station down the street. Dude legit acted like he wanted to fight me because I wouldn’t put some strange number in my phone.
While I’d never let a stranger use my phone, I’m still curious: What are these guys up to?
