What to do with the 40th pick?

The most logical thing to do is probably to trade back and at least get 1/2 more picks.

Although, imo if any of these guys fall to 40 – AJ Epenesa – Zach Baun – Grant Delpit – Kenneth Murray – Denzel mims

the Texans should take them.

Epenesa- incredibly effective pass rusher, strong bull rush to push the pocket, incredible production & can take over games at times. Lacks some athleticism & played a 4-3 end.

Baun- gonna sound like OB, but incredibly versatile. Very solid in coverage & incredible production & upside as a pass rusher. Undersized.

Delpit- 6′ 2″, can cover TE’s, incredible in coverage, high motor, versatile, playmaker, nose for the football. Watched him play a couple of years ago & been waiting for him to get to the NFL ever since. Missed tackles are an issue & not a box safety.

Murray- high motor, great pass rush & blitz ability(can be used inside & out), sideline to sideline player. Coverage skills leave something to be desired.

Mims- 6′ 3″, julio Jones type build and athleticism(4.39 40), elite length and catch radius, 39 contested catches since 2017(1st among all receivers). His release off the line needs some work. Would be a great jump ball receiver. Can’t ever have too much speed.

And obviously if any 1st round projected players drop, them as well, but these are the most probable I could think of.

Thoughts? Additions? Guys you’ll are high on? What do you think we should do with the 40th pick?

Best Tomball, TX Electric Companies?

Hi! I’m moving from Oklahoma, which has a single power company, so this is all new to me. Is there anyone from Tomball, TX that can give me the best companies to choose from for electricity for my home? I’m seeing different rates (from 7.9 cents to over 11 cents) and maybe explain why some rates are so low? Does that mean they have more blackouts or something? I just don’t understand and searching these places online only give me companies and rates. Thank you!

An open letter to my fellow Houstonians and Americans.

I am embarrassed beyond belief by the rise of anti-Asian violence and discrimination in Houston and the rest of the country. I’m furious, really. I want to make signs, go yell at some people, make reassurances, anything. But there’s not a single thing I can do. The best case scenario is I go out there and look useless and pandering, and I daresay the worst case scenario is getting stabbed, given the shape a lot of these interactions have taken. Racism is the greatest shame of this country, and it always has been, and I feel so naive in having let myself believe that maybe at least a little progress had been made.

If you’re Asian and reading this, than I am sorry for this situation. I know my apology doesn’t mean or do anything, but I still am. I know these kinds of terrible things happens even in the best of times, but what is happening now in the worst of times is going to re-open old wounds for decades to come.

If you’re the kind of person whose out there doing this kind of thing and you think you’re being “brave” or “patriotic” or any other lunatic buzzword you apply to yourself to make you feel like a hero for being a goddamned fool. I don’t know what else to say other than: Stop. You aren’t helping anyone, you are a disgrace. Stay home and let decent folk do what needs to be done, unhindered.

I never thought I would be one to climb on the Reddit soapbox, because I know it doesn’t do anything, but I had to say something somewhere.

Edit: Readability
